The International Council for Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI) 2009 conference will be held from June 9-10, 2009, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Organised by the NRC Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (NRC-CISTI), the conference will examine how publishers, librarians and researchers can work together to create structures for managing and communicating scientific data.
Conference attendees will be able to meet the speakers - 14 data management experts from Europe, US and Canada; learn how digital libraries and e-publishers can accelerate scientific discovery; understand how your organisation can benefit from emerging eScience strategies; and network with sponsors and colleagues from government, publishing, information and library communities.
