IEEE Access, the award-winning multidisciplinary open access journal, recently published its 1,000th article in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. IEEE claims to be the world’s largest technical professional organisation advancing technology for humanity.
Since its launch in 2013, IEEE Access, which incorporates articles from all IEEE fields of interest and emphasizes applications-oriented and interdisciplinary articles, has grown immensely. In late 2015 it was accepted into the Thomson Reuters Web of Science and has won numerous awards including the 2015 Prose Award for “Best New Journal in STM,” and in 2015, one of its articles was awarded the 2015 IEEE Donald Fink Prize Paper Award.
