Technical professional association IEEE, US, has announced that the new IEEE Standards Power and Energy Dictionary application, a dictionary of terms and definitions for professional experts and students in the power industry, is now accessible via Apple mobile devices. The IEEE Standards Power and Energy Dictionary application, compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad is available in iTunes. It requires iOS 3.0 or later.
Users of the IEEE Standards Power and Energy Dictionary application will gain an in-depth understanding and appreciation for the breadth of coverage of IEEE power and energy standards terms and definitions.
Created by the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA), the IEEE Standards Power and Energy Dictionary application provides quick and easy access to more than 3,500 terms and definitions with complete source citations. Users can perform searches by keyword, standard number or alphabetically, and the search function automatically identifies terms as the user starts typing in the search field.
