The Institution of Engineering and Technology’s (IET) research database, Inspec, is expanding coverage to include content from five additional Chinese Laser Press (CLP) journals.
The journals cover the rapidly expanding areas of optics and photonics, which are a timely addition as 2020 marks the 60th anniversary of the invention of the laser.
Inspec currently indexes Advanced Photonics and High Power Laser Science and Engineering, two journals which CLP co-publishes with other organisations. The new partnership will expand coverage to include indexing of content published in CLP journals, including Photonics Research (co-published with The Optical Society, OSA); Chinese Optics Letters; Chinese Journal of Lasers; Acta Optica Sinica; and Laser & Optoelectronics Progress.
The CLP journals will join over 4,500 international journals in Inspec, selected for their specific relevance to the fields of engineering and science. As part of the Inspec database, the journals’ content will be discoverable to a global audience of research universities, corporate research teams, governments and patent offices.
More information can be found on the Inspec website.
