IFIS Publishing and CNKI have announced the launch of CNKI Food Science Focus, a specialized database dedicated to advancing food science research within China. This collaboration, marked by a formal signing ceremony at the Frankfurt Book Fair on October 17, is set to provide the Chinese research community with access to cutting-edge global food science information and resources.
The launch event was attended by Zhang Hongwei, General Manager of CNKI, and Xie Lei, Head of the Digital Publishing Centre at CNKI. Representing IFIS Publishing were Katy Askew, Managing Director, and Carol Durham, Head of Sales and Partnerships. The ceremony was further honored by the presence of Zhao Haiyun, Deputy General Director of the Import and Export Administration Bureau, Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, underscoring the significance of this collaboration.
Designed with researchers and students in mind, CNKI Food Science Focus offers access to over 1.7 million records from 89 countries, spanning 41 languages. The platform is expected to become an essential tool for advancing food science research and education in China, with features tailored for efficient and reliable access to food science data:

• Mobile-Friendly Access: Allowing on-the-go research capabilities.
CNKI Food Science Focus builds on IFIS Publishing’s commitment to providing reliable food science data.
