IGI Global, a medium-sized independent academic research publisher, has announced a new Open Access (OA) agreement with Auckland University of Technology (AUT). AUT has invested in an OA fund to support their faculty and staff's research through IGI Global's Open Access Agreement option.
This fully OA agreement provides coverage for Article Processing Charges (APCs) that will be utilised by the university's faculty to publish their research. After undergoing IGI Global's rigorous double-blind peer review process, the accepted research published under OA will gain increased discoverability and higher citation impact. At the same time, the research will contribute to crucial bodies of emerging knowledge and add to AUT's repository of high-quality faculty publications.
IGI Global has recognised the increasing worldwide interest in OA publishing. It is prepared to discuss flexible OA agreements and transformative OA options. AUT is supporting its faculty's research and is leading the OA Movement through this agreement.
