IGI Global Scientific Publishing and Clemson University formalize open access publishing agreement -

IGI Global Scientific Publishing has established a new open access agreement with Clemson University, enabling institutional support for faculty publishing across the publisher’s open access journal portfolio.

Through the agreement, Clemson University faculty members receive Article Processing Charge (APC) funding support from the university library when publishing in IGI Global Scientific Publishing’s open access journals. The program covers nearly 200 fully open access titles spanning Business & Management, Science, Technology, & Medicine (STM), and education and social sciences.

Articles published under the agreement are made available under Creative Commons CC BY licensing, supporting broader visibility, discoverability, and citation impact. The journals included in the program are indexed across major scholarly databases, including Scopus and Web of Science.

The agreement aligns with Clemson Libraries’ broader strategy to pursue cost-effective transformative agreements that expand open access opportunities for institutional authors. Clemson University is classified as an R1—Very High Research University and is a member of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL).
