The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) and Wiley, one of the world’s largest publishers and a global leader in research and learning, have announced a open access agreement. This partnership, Wiley's first with IIT Kharagpur, will be effective throughout 2024 and aims to significantly enhance access to scholarly resources for the renowned technology institute.
This collaboration provides IIT Kharagpur scholars and researchers with reading access to Wiley’s extensive journal portfolio. Additionally, it allows affiliated researchers to publish open access in over 1,300 hybrid open access journals within Wiley’s portfolio.
Wiley has been a leading force in advancing open access partnerships, having signed more than 100 agreements with over 2,800 institutions globally. This new partnership with IIT Kharagpur marks a significant milestone in Wiley's ongoing efforts to promote open access and support the global research community.
