Medical scientific publisher Informa Healthcare, UK, has announced the appointment of Dr Sandy Weinberg as the new editor-in-chief of Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs. Dr Weinberg’s career activities span both the biological science industry and the business development arena, where he launched a biotech company and worked with the FDA and other regulatory agencies to speed the development and control of the regulation of biologics.
Dr Weinberg is the author of sixteen books on biomedical regulation, validation, and vaccine development. He is also the author of two newsletters – ‘Early Warning’ and ‘Advanced Notice’ and has served as a consultant to a host of international regulatory agencies and industrial organisations.
Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs is a peer-reviewed international journal whose primary aim is the dissemination of knowledge about the issues and challenges of clinical research, with a special emphasis on the design, conduct, analysis, synthesis, history, ethics, regulation, and clinical and policy aspects of drug development.
