Information management company Infotrieve, Inc., US, has announced the release of the next generation of its BRAVO reprint and ePrint order aggregation system. BRAVO is the second generation of Infotrieve's proprietary order aggregation system.
BRAVO is entirely web-based and allows companies to easily aggregate orders for reprints and eprints of the same article across the enterprise in order to drive down acquisition costs. The solution incorporates work-flow automation that provides companies with the ability to reduce the time and quantity of human resources required to obtain a price quotation from publishers, then communicate that information with others in the company that may have an interest in the same title, and subsequently process and fulfill the combined orders.
Complete visibility into the ordering process allows users from different departments and/or different locations to see the cost of each reprint as the size of the aggregated order increases. Administrators and persons placing reprint orders can check the status of orders, review order history, and easily reorder frequently requested titles.
