Ingram Content Group Inc., a subsidiary of Nashville-based Ingram Industries Inc., has announced three new associates to the company.
Kurt Hettler has joined Ingram Academic Services as Director of Academic Services, reporting to Heidi Sachner, Vice President, Ingram Publisher Services, Perseus Distribution/Ingram Academic Services. Kurt will oversee the client relationships with university press and academic publishers, and lead the overall strategic direction and development of specialized services for these publishers.
Kurt joins Ingram after more than 25 years at Oxford University Press. He spent several years in academic and trade marketing before moving over to distribution in 2008 as Director, Publisher Services. In this role, he oversaw the relationships with Oxford's print and ebook distribution clients, as well as more than 20 university press partnerships with the University Press Scholarship Online (UPSO) program, a digital platform for academic libraries.
Peter Antone joins Ingram as the Director of Marketing, Publisher Services, and he reports to Brian McKinley, Vice President of Marketing. Peter will lead the overall marketing strategy for Ingram Publisher Services and its brands, PGW, Consortium, Perseus Distribution, and Legato.
Peter joins Ingram after more than 17 years in media publishing most recently serving as Director of Consumer Marketing and Sales at The Tennessean and Gannett- USA Today Network. He also spent several years in various marketing and sales management positions with The New York Times and Coca Cola.
Rachel Bressler is a new Director of Client Relations for Perseus Distribution, reporting to Heidi Sachner, Vice President, Ingram Publisher Services, Perseus Distribution/Ingram Academic Services. Rachel will oversee the relationships with our client publishers.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the publishing industry and most recently served as Editorial Director at Plume (Penguin Random House). She spent several years in various positions at HarperCollins, including Associate Publisher for Ecco.
