Ingram Content Group selects Ingram's CoreSource platform for the storage, management, and distribution of digital content -

Ingram Content Group Inc. has announced that the De Gruyter Group, a leader in humanities and natural sciences academic publishing, has selected Ingram's CoreSource® platform for the storage, management, and distribution of digital content.

The De Gruyter Group is the most recent European publisher to select the CoreSource platform for digital asset management and distribution, and will also use CoreSource Plus to expand distribution and reach new booksellers worldwide. The platform provides De Gruyter, and their distributed publisher clients, with a comprehensive and scalable global distribution infrastructure.

The move to Ingram's CoreSource platform, allows De Gruyter to focus more of their time and efforts on academic publishing excellence and content development. Ingram will handle the complexities of content management, logistics and worldwide distribution.

The DeGruyter Group, which includes the publishing houses of De Gruyter Akademie Forschung, Birkhäuser, De Gruyter Mouton, De Gruyter Open, De Gruyter Oldenbourg, and De Gruyter Saur, publishes over 1,300 new titles each year in the humanities, medicine, natural sciences, and law, more than 650 journals, and a variety of digital media. The company is headquartered in Berlin, Germany.

The De Gruyter Group joins other European academic publishers that have selected CoreSource as their digital asset management platform of choice including Elsevier, Palgrave Macmillan, Pearson, Taylor & Francis, Brill, Karger Publishers and others.
