INSPEC and NASA index World Scientific's books and proceedings -

Scientific publisher World Scientific Publishing Company, US, has announced that its books and proceedings will now gain greater coverage in the scientific community following the indexing of its titles by INSPEC and NASA.

In addition to its current inclusion of over 60 of World Scientific's and Imperial College Press' journals in its database, INSPEC will now index World Scientific's books and proceedings in the areas of physics, engineering, computer science and related subjects. Key index terms derived from books that are published from 2009 will be integrated into the INSPEC database and built with web links to the original articles at World Scientific's website.

NASA Astrophysics Data System (ADS) will include World Scientific's proceedings in physics, particularly in astronomy, in its bibliographic database on a continual basis.

INSPEC is an indexing database of scientific and technical literature, produced by the Institution of Engineering and Technology. It has a global coverage of over 11 million records containing abstracts and subject indexing. This covers scientific and engineering literature from global literature from 1969, in the fields of physics, computing, control, power, telecoms, mechanical engineering and production engineering.
