STM publisher InTech, Croatia, has announced the appointment of Henk Compier as the company's new Managing Director. He will assume the role with immediate effect.
Compier joined InTech in a consultancy capacity at the end of November 2011 and has now been charged with the responsibility to drive the next stage of the company's growth.
In a career about 25 years, Henk has held a number of senior level positions with some of the world's leading STM publishing houses.
In 1985, he joined Elsevier Science B.V., a division of Reed Elsevier, where he remained until 1990 to become Marketing Services Manager/Sales Manager at ADONIS – then the first multi-publisher initiative to provide electronic journal solutions to the market for STM periodicals.
The appointment of Henk as Managing Director of InTech comes at a time when the company has enjoyed continued record growth since its inception in 2004.
