IntechOpen has announced that its books are now available on perlego.com. Perlego, a London-based company, was developed to provide an affordable textbook solution for students around the world by partnering with leading publishers and streaming content directly from them.
Perlego now has over 500,000 professional and academic titles across over 500 different topics and subtopics and will now include IntechOpen’s entire catalog. While Perlego is a subscription-based service, IntechOpen content integrated on the reading platform will always be available for free.
While the platform was initially developed for students, nearly one-third of Perlego’s users are professionals, and the company will be expanding beyond its reach from formal education.
This is great news for IntechOpen’s network of authors and editors who publish Open Access to ensure that their research gets the visibility it deserves. IntechOpen is helping their authors and editors achieve wide dissemination and readership in all sectors - academic, professional, and governmental.
