International Association of Online Engineering and the Joint Implant Surgery & Research Foundation to preserve e-journals with Portico -

Digital preservation specialist Portico has announced that the International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE) will preserve e-journals with Portico, ensuring that they will be secure and available into the future.

The International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE) is an international non-profit organization with the objective of encouraging the wider development, distribution and application of Online Engineering (OE) technologies and its influence to the society. The association seeks to foster practices in education and research in universities, higher education institutions and the industry on OE.

In a related announcement, Portico has announced that the Joint Implant Surgery & Research Foundation (JIRSF) will preserve e-journals with Portico. JIRSF will partner with Portico to preserve the content from its journal—Reconstructive Review.

Published since 2011 Reconstructive Review is a peer-reviewed, open-access orthopaedic journal devoted to publishing papers in the area of total joint arthroplasty. Types of articles include original articles, basic science, case reports, clinical/surgical, commentary, controversy, healthcare policy/economics, reviews, letters to the editor, and surveys. This journal continues JISRF's commitment to bring together all aspects of scientific endeavour for the betterment of our total joint patients.
