International Journal of Oral Science re-launches on nature.com -

Scientific publisher Nature Publishing Group (NPG), UK, has announced that the International Journal of Oral Science (IJOS) has re-launched on nature.com as a fully open access title. Co-published by NPG and the West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University (WCSS), IJOS is available at www.nature.com/ijos. The title joins NPG's stable of academic journals focusing on oral science, including the British Dental Journal, Vital magazine and Evidence-Based Dentistry.

IJOS is published weekly as papers are accepted, while print issues continue to be produced every quarter. Backed by the premier oral science research group in China, the journal has been published since 2009 by the WCSS. IJOS content is now open access, so articles are freely available online immediately on publication, published under Creative Commons licenses. An article-processing charge will be levied per article accepted for publication.

The journal seeks to publish original, high quality, peer-reviewed papers including original articles and reviews, as well as clinical studies, letters to the Editor and case reports. Submission of papers on all aspects and sub-specialties of oral science and related interdisciplinary fields is encouraged.
