IOP Publishing announces new appointments -

Non-profit scientific publisher Institute of Physics Publishing (IOP), UK, has announced the appointments of Judith Barnsby, Marie Moment and Jane Roscoe to key roles in the company.

Barnsby has been appointed as head of e-development. Having worked at IOP Publishing for six years, she is now heading the team responsible for the development of IOP's key user-facing websites. She previously worked for both the Royal Society of Chemistry and Ingenta.

Marie Moment has been appointed business development manager following the retirement of Desmond Reaney at the end of 2008. She has worked at IOP Publishing for more than five years in the sales and marketing team, heading the campaign sales team. She has extensive experience of developing solutions for international customer requirements.

Jane Roscoe will serve as head of publishing development. She brings nine years of IOP Publishing experience to this role, previously working as a group publisher and a senior publisher at the company. Roscoe has a successful track record of launching new journals, such as Journal of Neural Engineering, and developing partner relationships with other societies, such as the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine.
