Scientific publisher IOP Publishing (IOPP) has named the winners of its Reviewer Awards for 2019. Peer review forms the backbone of scholarly communication, providing essential rigour and validation for published papers.
The awards are part of IOP Publishing’s commitment to recognise and reward peer review. IOPP’s Editors carefully selected the best reviewers from each journal, based on the quality, quantity and timeliness of their reviews. Most journals chose one person to receive the Reviewer of the Year Award, and selected several other excellent reviewers to receive Outstanding Reviewer awards.
Full list of winners can be found at the respective journal. This year IOP has recognised over 1,600 reviewers from more than 60 countries, across 53 journals.
