IOP Publishing has introduced Electronic Structure (EST) as the newest addition to its journal portfolio.
EST is a multidisciplinary journal, covering all theoretical and experimental aspects of electronic structure research, including the development of new methods.
It is dedicated to the entirety of electronic structure research and its community, spanning materials science, physics, chemistry and biology. It welcomes papers using any theoretical or experimental technique to study any aspect of electronic structure.
The journal is led by joint Editors-in-Chief Bert de Jong (Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory, USA) and Professor Risto Nieminen (Aalto University, Finland).
EST opened for submissions on the May 29, 2018. All articles will be free to read until the end of 2019.
