IOP Publishing has announced that the journal authors can now quickly and easily find out what is happening to their submission throughout the publication process, using the Track my article page on the Publishing Support site.
In response to feedback from the authors, IOP Publishing has designed the system to be simple and easy to use. Authors can access the service at any point in the process simply by providing a manuscript ID. They will then be able to see up to the minute information on the status of their paper.
Track my article will allow authors to see what stage their manuscript is at in the publishing process; how long that stage is expected to take; and whether they need to take any action.
