STM publisher IOS Press, Netherlands, has announced that it is working together with Accucoms, a Netherlands-based provider of sales and marketing services to scholarly and society publishers, to better service the North American library market. Accucoms represents IOS Press for the North American journal sales and offers customer support services.
IOS Press is a rapidly-growing publishing company that embraces new technologies for the dissemination of information. It publishes some 90 international journals and about 100 book titles a year, ranging from computer sciences and mathematics to medicine and the natural sciences.
Established in 2004, Accucoms caters to a global market. The company offers publishers worldwide a sales representation service that includes face-to-face selling, account management, representation at library events, telesales and local language marketing activities.
