STM publisher IOS Press has announced that two of its editors - Maurizio Battino and Hojjat Adeli - have been awarded by Thomson Reuters.
Maurizio Battino is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Berry Research and Mediterranean Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism. Hojjat Adeli is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Integrated Computer-Aided Engineering. The editors were recognised by Thomson Reuters as a 2015 Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researcher.
Thomson Reuters carefully analysed citation data over an 11-year period using Thomson Reuters Web of Science™ and InCites™ to identify some of the best and brightest scientific minds.
Maurizio Battino and Hojjat Adeli were selected due to the number of citations their work has received from their fellow researchers and their contributions have been identified as being among the most valuable and significant in their fields.
