IPR License announces 28 percent year-on-year growth in new member sign-ups -

IPR License, the global rights and licensing solution, has announced a 28% year-on-year growth in new member sign-ups.

The 28% membership growth in 2015 compared favourably with the 21% increase experienced in 2014. Q4 2015 was highlighted as a particularly strong period as a result of a highly successful Frankfurt Book Fair. Ongoing enhancements to TradeRights, IPR's fully transactional online rights and licensing marketplace, and the development of key strategic partnerships were also cited as reasons for the significant membership rise.

Among the new publishers signed up in Q4 2015 include CABI, RCNi, Baylor University Press, Warriors Publishing Group, University of Wisconsin Press, Plaza Y Valdes Editores, Dreamspinner Press, Solution Tree Press, Pio-Seelos Books, Diplomica Verlag GmbH, Windmill Books, Kitchen Press, W. Kohlhammer GmbH, Lotus Publishing, Ramaja Rosdakarya, Another Chapter Publishing, Malachite Quills Publishing, Unicart Production, Andrews McMeel Publishing, American Diabetes Association, V&S Publishers, Darton, Longman and Todd, Orenda Books, Daniella De-Nur Publishers, Speechmark and re:On Comics.

Advanced discussions are also underway with a number of major STM and trade publishing houses for a range of white-label and bespoke products for the rights and licensing sector.
