Digital preservation specialist Portico has announced that James Cook University College of Medicine and Dentistry will preserve e-journals with Portico, ensuring that they will be secure and available into the future.
The College of Medicine and Dentistry is a constituent body of James Cook University. JCU is a public university and claims to be the second oldest university in Queensland, Australia. It is a teaching and research institution.
In a related announcement, Portico announced that John Libbey Eurotext and Dedicated Juncture Researcher’s Association will also be preserving their e-journals with Portico. John Libbey Eurotext is a Franco-British publisher specialising in scientific journals and books.
