STM publishing company SLACK Incorporated, US, has announced that John Bond, has been named to the newly created position of Chief Content Officer, SLACK Health Care Books and Journals.
John has over 25 years of experience at SLACK Inc. and has been successful in many roles. In his new role, he will oversee all content initiatives for SLACK book and journal brands, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive engagements, retention and positive customer behaviour. He will collaborate with sales, marketing, special services and Wyanoke Group partners to develop content strategies that ultimately build revenue and enhance the growth of SLACK Inc. and Wyanoke.
John began his SLACK career as a journal assistant editor in 1987 before being promoted to managing editor. He later served as production manager before becoming publisher of the SLACK book division. When the Wyanoke Group was formed he assumed responsibility for all SLACK paid content publications as senior vice president, SLACK Health Care Books and Journals.
John was a leader in the development and launch of Healio.com, SLACK's online content platform. He will work collaboratively across teams and content types to continue to advance Healio.com as the hub and focus of SLACK content strategy and initiatives. Chief Content Officer is a new position at SLACK Inc. created to complement the roles of all the members of executive leadership.
