John Kilcullen and Wendy Strothman join CCC Board of Directors -

Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), a not-for-profit organisation providing copyright licensing solutions, has announced the election of John Kilcullen and Wendy Strothman to its Board of Directors.

Kilcullen is a founding member of IDG Books Worldwide. Under his leadership, the company created the For Dummies brand, published dozens of international bestsellers and received over 150 awards for editorial quality, design and marketing.

Strothman is a literary agent and the founder of the Strothman Agency. Previously she was the Publisher of Trade & Reference Books at Houghton Mifflin and Publisher at Beacon Press. She currently serves on the Boards of Trustees of Deerfield Academy and of 826 Boston, a branch of 826 Valencia, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 with creative and expository writing skills. She has also served on the Board of Governors of Yale University Press and as a Trustee and Fellow of the Brown University Corporation.
