Technical professional organisation IEEE and the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) have announced their collaborative role in the publication of a joint white paper entitled Semantic Interoperability for the Web of Things in conjunction with organisations closely tied to the advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem.
The joint white paper presents a position statement underscoring the importance of the Semantic Interoperability in the IoT, helping set the tone for an open discussion among all organizations that will help drive collaboration, convergence, and alignment in the area of Semantic Interoperability.
The document is made available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License so that content can be freely shared and adapted provided users follow the agreed upon guidelines. The joint white paper has also been published on ResearchGate and can be referenced as DOI: 10.13140/RG.2.2.25758.13122.
