Journal of Intensive Care, published by open access publisher BioMed Central, is now accepting submissions. The peer-reviewed online journal aims to publish articles contributing to the development of intensive care medical science, and to promote the exchange of ideas internationally in this and related fields. In addition, the journal encourages submissions considering the different cultural aspects of intensive care practice.
The journal is the official journal of the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine. This journal's launch marks a significant development as it is the first open access English journal published on intensive care medicine from the Asia and Pan-Pacific region.
The publication costs for all manuscripts submitted to the journal are covered by the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine.
