STM publisher SLACK Incorporated has announced the official launch of the new digital, open-access journal, Journal of Refractive Surgery Case Reports (JRS Case Reports). Edited by Dr. J. Bradley Randleman, the quarterly, peer-reviewed Journal will include high-quality case reports that focus on research as related to the clinical practice of refractive surgery and lens-based procedures. The first issue will be published on June 25, 2021 on Journals.Healio.com.
Associate editors for the Journal include esteemed physicians Francesco Carones, MD, Soosan Jacob, MS, FRCS, DNB, and Karolinne Rocha, MD, PhD.
A companion title to the highly ranked Journal of Refractive Surgery, also edited by Dr. Randleman, JRS Case Reports is the official open-access journal of the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS), a partner of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. JRS Case Reports is dedicated to the exploration of individual patient cases describing complex diagnostic dilemmas and compelling surgical techniques.
