Open Access publisher BioMed Central, UK, has announced that the Journal of Translational Medicine has launched a new section dedicated to Nutrition and Metabolism. Led by Section Editor Laura Soldati, and with a dedicated editorial board, the section aims to provide a platform for the interaction and mutual validation between basic and applied research in the field of nutrition.
To mark the launch of the section, Prof. Soldati has co-written the editorial 'Introducing the Nutrition & Metabolism section of Journal of Translational Medicine'.
Journal of Translational Medicine is an open access journal publishing articles focusing on information derived from human experimentation so as to optimise the communication between basic and clinical science. The journal covers all areas of translational medicine but also has several special sections. These include Cancer microenvironment; Cell, tissue and gene therapy; Clinical translation; Combination strategies; Immunovirology; Neuroscience; Nutrition & metabolism; Personalised medicine; and Tumor immunology and biological cancer therapy.
