The Journal of Urgent Care Medicine (JUCM) has announced Harris Fleming as the publication's new managing editor. With over 25 years of experience as an editor and writer in the healthcare and medical industries, Fleming brings an expansive range of field knowledge to his position.
JUCM is the leading publication in the fast moving urgent care industry and serves as the official journal of the UCAOA. Written for clinicians and administrators working in the urgent care field, the journal provides beneficial, industry relevant content, with articles focusing on the distinct needs of today's urgent care specialists in an ever-changing marketplace.
Fleming was the first editor of JUCM from 2001-2011 and has previously held editorial management positions with Drug Topics, Dowden Health Media, Physicians' Desk Reference and Haymarket Medical Media. He currently resides in Waldwick, N.J. with his wife and son.
Bringing industry experience and healthcare communications knowledge, Fleming started as JUCM's managing editor on Dec. 15.
The Journal of Urgent Care Medicine (JUCM) supports the evolution of urgent care medicine by creating content that addresses both the clinical practice of urgent care medicine and the practice management challenges of keeping pace with an ever-changing healthcare marketplace.
