Karger Publishers has announced the appointment of Andre Janssen as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective March 1, 2019.
Janssen is a member of the Management Board together with Gabriella Karger and CEO Daniel Ebneter and leads two divisions. He and his divisions will be responsible for scalable and efficient processes as well as robust, flexible services. He succeeds Ural Tufan who has now left the company after several successful years.
Prior to joining Karger, Janssen worked in various executive positions in project management and business integration, for example at Infosys Consulting AG and at Roche Diagnostics. He led many large-scale business integration projects in different industries such as pharmaceuticals and IT business consultancy. His experience and know-how also cover digitalisation and change management.
