Kingston University Library joins the rapidly growing Alma Community -

Library automation solutions provider Ex Libris Group has announced that Kingston University has chosen Alma as their next generation, unified resource management solution.

Having opted for a complete suite of fully cloud-based Ex Libris products two years ago - the Primo discovery and delivery solution, the SFX link resolver, and the Aleph integrated library system - Kingston saw Alma as the next step in their plan to modernise the library in support of the university’s academic and strategic objectives.

With over 100 years of history and an annual income of more than ₤203million, Kingston University is home to almost 3,000 members of staff and over 23,000 students. The library contains almost 400,000 books as well as 158,000 eBooks, 31,500 DVDs and audio-visual materials, and 73,000 e-journals.
