Engineering resources provider Knovel, US, has announced the appointment of Venu Venugopal as vice president of product management. In his new position, Venugopal will lead the company's product strategy and development efforts.
With a track record of revenue growth and global market development, Venugopal brings nearly 20 years of experience in leading new business initiatives from concept through development to Knovel. He will be responsible for all product development initiatives at Knovel.
Prior to joining Knovel, Venu worked for CA Technologies, where he was one of the founding executives of the SaaS business unit and the vice president of Product Management for the global SaaS product line. During his tenure at CA, Venu was also the vice president of marketing for Industry Verticals and the director of product management for the Security Software product line. He was also the founding head of Product Management for Sprint-Nextel's Managed VPN Business and the Network Security Services for the Federal government market.
