Knovel on track for record year with the addition of eight new publishers -

Knovel, the US-based provider of a Web-based application that integrates technical information with analytical and search tools, has announced that it is on track for its best year yet in bringing new publishers and adding content to the platform with the most recent addition of eight new partners. These publishers' collections expand and enhance Knovel's topic coverage in content subject areas, including marine engineering, civil engineering, software engineering (coming in October), earth science, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering and industrial engineering.

The eight new publishing partners include Packt, IGI Global, Royal Institution of Naval Architects, Whittles Publishing, Energy Institute, IT Governance, Bentley Institute Press and Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).

Part of the Elsevier product portfolio, Knovel is a cloud-based application integrating technical information with analytical and search tools to drive innovation and deliver answers engineers can trust. Knovel works with more than 100 societies and publishers worldwide, ensuring that engineers have access to trusted sources of technical content across more than 30 subject areas.
