Latest release of Price Rx includes NADAC pricing information and additional user enhancements -

Healthcare information provider Wolters Kluwer Health, US, has announced that Price Rx® v2.2 now features NADAC pricing information and several other key enhancements, helping to save users valuable time in research and reporting for selected drug products.

Price Rx customers now have the ability to quickly reference the National Average Drug Acquisition Cost (NADAC), the newly published national pricing benchmark from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS), directly from within the Price Rx application for a given drug product. This information is fueled by data from the Medi-Span® Federal Government Pricing File™, which identifies similar NDCs not reported by CMS and extrapolates NADAC pricing to these NDCs. On average, for every NDC CMS reports, Medi-Span extrapolates to an additional 1-2 NDCs; such NDCS are readily identified and distinguished from the CMS-based NDCs.

Additional key enhancements in this release that focus on improving the user experience include more powerful custom reporting, streamlines email alert messaging, more flexible Product Name search, and better organisation of reports with the ability to select those as "Favorites."
