Learned Publishing now part of ScienceOpen’s collections -

Learned Publishing, the journal of the Association of Learned & Professional Society Publishers, has joined ScienceOpen’s collections so that it can benefit from increased visibility and discovery.

The journal publishes peer reviewed original research, updates and informed opinions on all aspects of scholarly publishing. Recent articles include: Purposes of peer review: A qualitative study of stakeholder expectations and perceptions; Transformative agreements: Do they pave the way to open access?; The transition of ARVO journals to open access; and The impact of COVID-19 on the UK publishing industry: Findings and opportunity

Written by and published for everyone involved with scholarly and professional communications, Learned Publishing’s readership includes publishers, vendors, librarians, academics and researchers from around the world. The journal’s vision is to contribute to improved quality and effectiveness in scholarly publishing by providing a source of relevant and authoritative research and opinion.

The journal is published in collaboration with the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP, https://www.sspnet.org) by Wiley. The journal is freely available to all members of both ALPSP and SSP.
