The Association of Research Libraries (ARL), US, has announced that the LibQUAL+ team will host training sessions and booth consultations in conjunction with the American Library Association (ALA) Midwinter Meeting in Dallas, Texas in January 2012.
The LibQUAL+ Survey Introduction is recommended for all first-time survey administrators. The session will provide potential and prospective new LibQUAL+ participants with information on the project's development and origins, as well as basic practical information for getting started with the survey at the participant's library. LibQUAL+ Survey Administration is aimed at both first-time and repeat survey administrators. The session will provide all participants with practical information for administering the survey at their library.
LibQUAL+ Survey Results is for library staffers who participated in the survey and will (a) provide an overview of recent LibQUAL+ participation, (b) report the latest research, (c) help participants to begin to interpret their institutional notebooks, and (d) share best practices in using the results. LibQUAL+ Consultations will help participants make the most of their exhibit time at ALA Midwinter.
LibQUAL+ is a suite of services that libraries use to solicit, track, understand and act upon users' opinions of service quality. These services are offered to the library community by the ARL.
