Enterprise text mining provider Linguamatics Ltd, UK, has announced that the company is expanding its service to North America to support the increasing demand for its I2E text mining platform. Susan LeBeau has been appointed as the new Director for North American Sales.
Linguamatics' flagship I2E technology features a client-server architecture built using industry-standard Java and C for use by single users, project teams, or in enterprise-wide deployments. Organisations have full control over source content to be mined, definition of queries and results output.
Dr LeBeau brings with her extensive experience supporting customers in the pharmaceutical, biotech and chemical industries. She most recently served as Director, Major Accounts, at CambridgeSoft. Prior to that, she spent eight years at Accelrys as Sr. Director, Scientific Services, where she managed Accelrys' Life Sciences Scientific Services organisation.
Linguamatics helps organisations maximise the value derived from information resources through effective deployment of innovative natural language processing (NLP) based technology. The interactive information extraction system, I2E, helps organisations to do much more than simply cope with vast quantities of information. From life sciences and healthcare to business intelligence, from media analysis to security, users mine large collections of documents, extracting relevant facts, relationships and quantitative data from content such as scientific papers, news feeds, patents, or internal reports.
