Lippincott ‘Inspired Nurses’ Calendar to benefit Honor A Nurse program -

Information and point-of-care solutions provider Wolters Kluwer Health has announced that each sale of the 2015 Lippincott Solutions Inspired Nursing Calendar will benefit Honor A Nurse. Created by the American Nurses Foundation (ANF), Honor A Nurse publicly acknowledges registered nurses who have made a difference in the lives of others.

Produced by the Lippincott Solutions team from Wolters Kluwer Health, the annual 'Inspired Nurses Do Amazing Things' calendar features stories from real nurses who are making a difference at their institutions. The judging committee selected 12 of the most inspiring stories submitted this year to the Inspiring Nurses website. The 2015 calendar showcases nurses from institutions large and small including Magnolia Lane Nursing & Rehab, Morganton, NC; Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center, Walsenberg, CO; St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, Langhorne, PA; and Greenwich Hospital, Greenwich, CT.

ANF is the philanthropic arm of the American Nurses Association (ANA). Founded in 1993, Honor a Nurse was created as a public way to celebrate individual nurses. People can nominate a nurse, clinician, friend, colleague, mentor or teacher who has made a difference in the practice of nursing. In addition, the program accepts monetary donations that can be given on behalf of an honoree. Donations are used to help promote the continued growth and development of nurses and services to advance the work of the nursing profession.

Lippincott Solutions, which includes Lippincott Advisor, Lippincott Procedures, and Lippincott Professional Development, enables more than 100,000 hospital-based clinicians, providers and universities access to current evidence-based practice information through advanced point-of-care software applications and professional development products.
