Wolters Kluwer Health, a global provider of information, business intelligence and point-of-care solutions for the healthcare industry, recently announced that its Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) journal portfolio has won 23 awards across 19 categories in the 2014 American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE) annual awards competition. ASHPE recognises member articles and publications for editorial, design, print, and online award categories.
LWW received 8 Gold awards, and AJN: American Journal of Nursing received 4 of them - Best Case History, Best Use of Social Media, Best Cover Photo, and Best Blog. AJN also received a Silver for Best News Coverage, for a total of 5 awards overall.
Other Gold winners include: Neurology Now®, published on behalf of the American Academy of Neurology, for Best Profile and Best Custom Publication; the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants for Best Original Research; and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, published on behalf of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, for Best Peer-Reviewed Journal.
