Lippincott Williams & Wilkins launches online library of evidence-based learning programmes -

Healthcare publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) has launched Lippincott's Online Learning Center, an online library of evidence-based learning programmes designed to advance nurses' clinical and professional knowledge.

Lippincott's Online Learning Center will help hospitals evaluate their nurses' competence, skills, critical thinking, and analytic ability. The programmes, backed by Lippincott's Seal of Excellence, are designed to help optimise nursing performance, increase clinical knowledge, ensure staff competence, and improve patient outcomes.

Interactive curriculum formats include online case study-based simulations, real life scenario-based question-and-answer modules, and didactic content-based courses with images, charts and video clips.

The online library includes advanced clinical information, training, and evaluation within Specialty Area Programs, Competency Evaluation Programs, Compliance & Patient Safety Programs, Mandatory Programs, Interpretation Programs, and a Preceptor Preparation Program. Developed by clinical experts, the Lippincott's Online Learning Center programmes meet the standards of highly respected nursing and medical organisations such as the AHA, the AACN, and the AHRQ.
