Healthcare publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), a Wolters Kluwer Health business, has announced that it has won 19 awards in 15 categories, including Magazine of the Year from the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE). ASHPE's 11th annual awards competition recognises member articles and publications for editorial, design, print, and online award categories.
This year, LWW took home the esteemed 2011 Magazine of the Year award for Nursing made Incredibly Easy! The distinctively illustrated Nursing made Incredibly Easy! breaks down difficult or confusing clinical concepts and presents them in an original, easily understood, and engaging format. Articles are contributed by experienced clinicians, ensuring that content is based on sound clinical principles and hands-on expertise.
Other notable category wins from LWW-published titles include OR Nurse2010 and Oncology Times for Best Feature Article Series, silver and bronze, respectively; and Neurology Now, the official patient magazine of the American Academy of Neurology, taking gold for Best Custom Publication and Best Open Page/Spread-Photo, and silver for Best Profile and Overall Use of Graphics.
