Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced that Italy's LIUC - Università Cattaneo will be moving to the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform, Primo® discovery and delivery solution, and Leganto™ course reading list solution.
Because of the diversity of the technological solutions currently in place at LIUC, information has accumulated in silos and problems have developed with the management of e resources and the provision of access to them.
With the move to the Ex Libris solutions, LIUC will benefit from tight integration between discovery, resource management, and resource lists, which are all based on the Ex Libris cloud platform. The effective unified management of both print resources and the university's increasing collection of e resources will support a large, rapidly growing community of users in Italy.
