It was another packed day at Earls Court on day two of the London Book Fair with the addition of a Royal visit – Duchess of Cornwall visited meeting agents, authors and publishers.
Blackwell's launched "Blackwell Learning," a new digital platform for students. This platform will be used to sell ebooks and print books from major academic publishers, track usage and link to University Learning environments.
Metapress business from EBSCO Industries, Inc. has been acquired by Atypon Systems Inc. Atypon and EBSCO will work together to transition Metapress clients to Atypon's Literatum platform. Under the terms of the agreement, Metapress will continue to service its current clients through the transition.
