Healthcare publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, US, has published seven new editions of their exercise science list in partnership with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Several titles provide the content students and professionals must master to obtain multiple ACSM certifications, including ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist or ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist.
ACSM's personal trainer, health fitness specialist, clinical exercise specialist and registered clinical exercise physiologist certifications are NCCA-accredited. This spring's line-up includes the ninth edition of ACSM's Guidelines for Exercise Testing and Prescription, which is widely considered the gold standard title for this subject. ACSM has certified more than 25,000 health fitness professionals in 44 countries.
