Publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), US, has announced the launch of Pathology Network (www.pathnetwork.com), a single source for pathologists to get a quick, complete view into the published literature specific to their practice needs. The product seeks to provide pathologists with access to all the current articles from the complete line of LWW pathology journals, including the American Journal of Surgical Pathology. Featuring a user interface with personalisation features, Pathology Network aggregates, tags and sorts articles from contributing journals into subspecialty channels.
Personalisation tools offered include My Network, Create Your Own Channel, and Saved Searches. The tools are projected to allow users to retrieve full article content including figures and illustrations. They can manage topical channels by adding or removing from their user homepage and also view recommended featured articles and image of the month. Users can also browse through content highlights and postings through the eNewsletter and access content archives.
