Academic publisher Maney Publishing, UK, has announced that Dr. Ben Roitberg has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the journal Neurological Research. Dr Roitberg succeeds Professor Manuel Dujovny who will assume the role of Editor-in-Chief Emeritus.
Dr Roitberg is Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Chicago, USA, where the Section of Neurosurgery has an illustrious history and performs research in a wide spectrum of neurosurgical and neurological areas. The University of Chicago School of Medicine is ranked as one of the leading medical schools in the USA.
Dr Roitberg has a long and productive history of collaboration with Neurological Research. He has served as Editor of special issues, and has previously been Acting Editor-in-Chief. Dr Roitberg has more than eighteen years of experience in teaching students and residents, carrying out research in a variety of areas such as intensive care unit outcomes, neural regeneration, neuroprotection, neural transplantation and other treatments for stroke and Parkinson's disease.
