Academic publisher Maney Publishing, UK, has announced that it is set to publish the Journal of Field Archaeology, starting 2010.
Formerly published by Boston University, the Journal of Field Archaeology is an international, refereed publication serving the interests of archaeologists, anthropologists, historians, scientists, and others concerned with the recovery and interpretation of archaeological data. Its scope is worldwide and is not confined to any particular time period.
The Journal of Field Archaeology will be published in both print and electronic formats, and complements Maney’s 14 other titles published in this area. It will join the MORE (Maney Online Research E-journals) Archaeology & Heritage Collection to provide considerable enhancements for institutions subscribing to this package. Following Maney’s extensive programme of retro-digitisation, the full archive from Volume 1 (1974) will also be made available online to institutional subscribers from 2010. All online content will be fully searchable with hypertext linking through CrossRef.
